How to make a: Ribbon Flower

Instructions for the Ribbon Flowers:

Instructions for the Ribbon:
Cut off a section of duc_ tape that is 12" or longer. Fold the tape onto itself so the final piece is the same length, just 1/2 the width and non-sticky on both sides. Trim this strip to a final length of 11". Fold the strip in half. At 3/4" on either side of halfway, fold the outside length forward at a 45 degree angle on the top edge. Of the two sides that fold forwards, one will layer on top and the other beneath. Turn the folded ribbon over and hot glue several of the ribbons together. We used 4. You now have the flower top.

Instructions for the Leaves and Stem:
Cut off a section of duc_ tape that is 12" or longer. Roll the duc_ tape tightly onto itself keeping the length. (Hard to do!) Easier: Roll the duc_ tape onto a pipe cleaner or thin rope keeping the length. This will be the stem. Trim and glue in place with the flower section previously made.
Cut off a section of duc_ tape that is 5" or longer. Cut off a second section of duc_ tape that is 5" or longer. Tape the two pieces to each other, sticky section to sticky section. Cut  this piece into a leaf shape. Cut off a section of duc_ tape that is 3" in length. Use this piece to wrap around the bottom of the leaf and the stem connecting them together where desired. You can also use glue to attach the leaf. Make a few more...and attach them also.
